Simple English News features short news stories in simple English. The stories are organised in categories including World News, Business, Sports, Science and Technology and so on. Each story is accompanied by an audio recording of the text. There's also a Test Zone featuring 38 short multiple choice grammar and vocabulary tests.
Simple English News was put together by Sam Margolis who worked for the U.S. Peace Corps in Hungary teaching English.
Verdict: A useful site for lower-level students who want to improve their reading and listening skills.
