This cartoon by Andy Davey from The Sun focuses on the post-Olympic blues, which many people in Britain are suffering from. The Daily Telegraph explains:
Britons were suffering a come-down today as they awoke to find the Olympics over.
The sense of disappointment was dubbed post-Olympic depression and hit many of those who had enjoyed watching two weeks of Team GB success at the London Games.
Hundreds took to Twitter to voice their misery, and the phrase #nolympics was trending on the website during the day.
In the cartoon, a man is slumped in front of a blank TV screen. The remains of a TV dinner are strewn all over the floor. The man's wife, who is taking down the Olympic bunting, asks, "What did we do before the Olympics?"
