UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne is looking in at himself in the bathroom mirror. He is frustrated because he can't manage to grow a moustache like the one he's drawn on the picture taped to the wall.
EXPLANATION
Osborne's failure to grow a moustache for Movember is a metaphor for his inability to stimulate growth in the UK economy. As The Telegraph reports:
The Bank (of England) slashed its growth forecast for 2013 and cautioned that the economy may contract again in the final three months of the year... Growth next year will be 1.2pc, not the 1.8pc forecast in August, the Bank revealed in its Inflation Report. Read more >>
