In what's been classed as a 'make or break' event for Apple, the tech firm has unveiled a cut-price handset called the iPhone 5C as well as a high-end model called iPhone 5S. The release of the iPhone 5C marks a step away from Apple's luxe image. The cartoon by Blower from The Telegraph shows the current and future versions of the iPhone. The phones look very similar, and the 'joke' is that the news is the same as well — the never-ending crisis in the Middle East.
Get your students to imagine what the iPhone 10 will look like (design, features), and present their ideas to the rest of the class. I find that good old-fashioned OHP transparencies are great for this sort of activity (or you could use sheets from a paperboard).
