Behind the magnificent façade of Buckingham Palace all is not well. A report published this week paints a grim picture of the state of disrepair of the Queen’s main residence. The cartoon by Paul Thomas from the Daily Express shows the Queen at her weekly meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron. Saucepans have been strategically placed around the room to catch the rainwater coming in through the leaky roof. Her Majesty, who is has one of her favourite corgis on her lap, tells Cameron, "It's about the state of the palace's roof, Prime Minister."
Buck House is a nickname for Buckingham Palace.
