Here's a classic Monty Python sketch which would be good for working on register ("I'd care to purchase a chicken, please"), practising the language of apologising ("I'm terribly sorry to hear that") and asking for repetition ("I'm sorry?", "I beg your pardon?")

Lesson idea: Get your students to create and act out sketches based on different shops where the shopkeeper or shop assistant is either polite or rude (they don't have to actually insult the customer!)
