TRANSCRIPT
REPORTER: Edward Snowden is both reviled and revered, called everything from a traitor to a hero. The former U.S. government contractor was the source of one of the greatest leaks in classified information in U.S. history. This makes him the perfect subject for a new comic book titled "Beyond: Edward Snowden", published by Bluewater Productions. The publication will dig into the man behind the headlines, says the comic book's writer, Valerie D'Orazio.
VALERIE D'ORAZIO: "As I researched more and more about his life it started to take more of a dramatic, almost like a sort of poetic quality to it and I found myself drawn into the drama of Edward Snowden, drawn into the contradictions."
REPORTER: The Snowden issue is the latest of Bluewater's biographical comic books. Others have profiled figures ranging from Steve Jobs to Prince Harry. Those wanting a copy of the new Snowden chronicle can get it in print or online starting May 21st.
